This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Portuguese version prevails.
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website or ask us for a quote, what it is used for and what rights you have. We have written it simply: we only collect what we need to reply to your request.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your data is:
- Trading name
- QUIT'ARTE
- Legal name
- TO BE FILLED IN
- Legal form
- TO BE FILLED IN
- Tax number (NIF / NIPC)
- 245550917
- Registered office
- TO BE FILLED IN
- qquit.arte@gmail.com
- Phone
- +351 965 221 994
For any question about your data, contact us at the email address above.
2. What data we collect
When you ask for a quote using the form
- Name and email — so we can reply to you.
- Phone — optional, only if you would rather we called you.
- The service and the details of your request (sizes, quantities, materials, message) — so we can prepare the quote.
We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include it in your message.
When you create a sticker in the editor
The image you upload is processed in your own browser and does not leave your computer while you edit. Only when you press "Send sticker" do we receive, by email, the final sticker, the original image (if it is not too large), the sizes, the quantity and your details (name, email and, if you wish, phone).
When you buy from the shop
- Name, email and mobile number — to confirm the order and arrange delivery.
- Address, postcode and town — only if you choose delivery by post, for the delivery.
- The products ordered and any notes you write.
The products you add to the cart are stored in your own browser until you place your order (see the cookie policy); we do not receive them before then.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email
We receive the data you send us (name, number or account, message and files). These conversations go through the services you chose to use (WhatsApp and Instagram, owned by Meta; your email provider), which process them under their own privacy policies.
When you visit the website
The website does not use cookies, visitor statistics, advertising pixels or any other way of tracking what you do; it only stores the shop cart in your browser, if you use it (see the cookie policy). The hosting service logs, for technical and security reasons, data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages requested.
3. What we use the data for and on what legal basis
- Replying to your request and preparing the quote — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Fulfilling the order, if you accept the quote — performance of the contract (same point (b)).
- Meeting legal obligations, such as invoicing — legal obligation (point (c)).
- Keeping the website secure and protecting the form against spam — legitimate interest (point (f)).
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not make automated decisions about you. We only send you news if you expressly ask us to.
4. How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not go ahead:TO BE FILLED IN, after which they are deleted.
- Orders and invoices: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Hosting technical logs: for the period set by the provider (see its policy, in section 5).
5. Who we share the data with
We do not share your data with other companies for their own purposes. We only use service providers that process it on our behalf, following our instructions (processors):
- Cloudflare, Inc. (EUA) — Website hosting and page delivery — logs visitors' IP addresses for technical and security reasons. Privacy policy.
- Resend, Inc. (EUA) — Sending the requests made through the quote form by email. Privacy policy.
These providers are based in the United States, so the data may be transferred outside the European Union. These transfers are made with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
If the order is sent by courier, we share with the courier the name, address and contact details needed for delivery.
6. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- erase your data, when it is no longer needed;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a commonly used format or have it sent to another organisation (portability).
Just send an email to qquit.arte@gmail.com. We reply within the time limit set by the GDPR. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
7. Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and the form does not store requests on the website — they are sent straight to our email.
8. Links to other websites
The website has links to Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps and to the catalogues of our clothing and promotional gift suppliers. When you follow them, you become subject to those websites' policies, for which we are not responsible.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change the way we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
